CAMERON LAKE LOCATION - in Coombs' Country (en route to Long Beach, Vancouver Island's  West Coast Pacific Rim Park) 10 minutes from the villages of Coombs, Qualicum Beach  and Parksville. This is the heart of Vancouver Island’s holiday country where many exciting activities abound. In Coombs' village have fun browsing goods from around the world and munching the goodies at Coombs’ Old Country Goats on the Roof Market, visit adjacent specialty and antique shops. The Coombs’ Rodeo Grounds has a variety of events every weekend all summer.  The area also offers plenty of hiking and bicycling trails, swimming and kayaking areas as well as riding stables.  Visit World Parrot Refuge Center,  Butterfly World and Errington Wildlife Recovery Center.  There are guided cave tours at Horne Lake, Parksville mini golf parks, Qualicum live theatre, museums, beaches, many world reknown golf courses (Qualicum Beach Memorial, Arrowsmith, Eagle Crest, Morning Star, Pheasant Glen, Fair Winds, Crown Isle) and much much more! To drive to the larger centres of Nanaimo and Port Alberni it takes 30 minutes.  It takes just 2 hours to drive to Victoria or the Long Beach Pacific Rim Park.
